I offer free workshops to local schools and organizations that focus on guitar education and/or Irish music and culture. These are particularly popular around St. Patrick's Day, but of course are available any time of the year.
The guitar education includes:
- Demonstrating chords
- Sharing guitars for hands-on learning
- Playing two songs as a group
- Connecting with school music curriculum through sight reading and theory
The Irish music and cultural education includes:
- Showing of Irish goods
- Interactive lesson on Irish history and language
- Playing and singing two traditional Irish songs as a group
- Connecting with school music curriculum through sight reading and theory
